Product Introduction:
The core of S13-M 10kV distribution transformer is made of high magnetic permeability silicon steel sheet, adopting 45°fully mitered and winding structure, which has good magnetic permeability. The coil adopts cylindrical type and new spiral type, which has high electrical strength; the oil tank is fully sealed and corrugated, with good heat dissipation effect, high insulation condition and reliable operation. It is used outdoors by oil immersion and self-cooling, and is widely used in urban and rural transmission and distribution networks, factories, mines, water conservancy and other places.
Application scenarios:
This transformer is widely used in power transmission and distribution system of 50Hz frequency, rated voltage of 10kV and below, and is especially suitable for:
1. Residential and commercial power distribution with emphasis on low noise and energy saving;
2. Power distribution for factories, including short-circuit withstand capability and stability;
3. Industrial parks, logistics parks, etc., centralised power supply, focusing on load fluctuation adaptability and operation and maintenance efficiency.
Product Characteristics:
1.Adopting new insulation structure, material and process, the performance is reduced by 30% on average compared with S9 series no-load loss, which is a new generation of energy-saving and consumption-reducing product.
2.High and low voltage windings are all wound with oxygen-free copper wire, and adopt new insulation structure and fasteners, which have strong short-circuit resistance.
3.The fully sealed oil tank isolates the transformer oil from the air, which slows down the aging of the transformer oil and prolongs the service life of the product.
4.Beautiful appearance, excellent performance and maintenance-free.

Structure and working principle of oil-immersed transformer:
Oil-immersed transformers have a structure which is similar to ordinary transformers. They are one of the types of transformer based on the core insulation method. So they have the important characteristic of being oil-immersed coils. This reduces thermal effects on internal parts.
The three basic components of an oil-immersed transformer are the core, windings and bushings. The core provides a path for the magnetic flux. The windings create the magnetic field. They are made of conductor coils wound on the core, insulated by cardboard diaphragms and shielding layers. As the voltage goes up, the winding insulation gets thicker. Bushings connect to the transformer winding for the substation.
Oil-immersed transformers are used in substation or power distribution. Their core and coils are immersed in oil for cooling and insulation. The oil flows by convection through oil pipes in the coils and around the coils and core assembly. In small power transformers the oil is cooled from the outside by the tank and in large power transformers by an air cooled radiator.
Uses of Oil-Immersed Transformers:
1. Oil-immersed transformers can be installed on the ground, on a base or on a pole, so they are suitable for outdoor environments. They are efficient in many applications like power transmission and distribution networks, renewable energy generation, and small-scale industrial applications.
2. Oil-immersed transformers are of large capacity, so they save a large amount of electricity, reduce the power loss, save energy and reduce the user costs. Moreover, the transformer’s oil cools down the internal iron core. It enhances the durability and electrical behaviour of the transformer.
Usual operating conditions:
1. Ambient temperature up to +40°C
2. Minimum ambient temperature ≥ -25 °C
3. Standard installation altitude up to 1000m
4. Special conditions require derating.
