Product Introduction:

The oil tank is a corrugated plate or expansion radiator, and there is no need for a separate oil storage tank, thus reducing the height of the transformer. The transformer oil is not exposed to air, which extends the aging time and service life. The core consists of high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheets with a fully oblique-cut and hole-free structure. The coils are made with high quality oxygen free copper.

Application scenarios:

This transformer is widely used in power transmission and distribution systems with a frequency of 50Hz and a rated voltage of 10kV and below and is especially suitable for:
1. Renovation and construction of the urban and rural power grid. As a core piece of equipment in the distribution network, supplying power to communities and towns.
2. Industrial and mining enterprises: Power supply for production equipment at factories and in mines.
3. Commercial buildings and infrastructure: energizing shopping malls, hospitals, schools, airports and railway stations.
4. Agricultural irrigation and rural electricity use: Suitable for applications where the load variation is relatively stable and the requirements for real-time voltage regulation are lower.
5. Step-up substations (as part of a box-type transformer) in the new energy power plants like photovoltaic power, wind power, etc.

Structure and Working Principle of Oil-Immersed Transformers:

Oil-immersed transformers are structurally similar to ordinary transformers. They are a type of transformer classified according to the method of core insulation. Therefore, they possess the significant characteristics of oil-immersed coils, which reduces the thermal effects on internal components.

The basic components of an oil-immersed transformer include the core, windings, and bushings. The core provides a path for magnetic flux. The windings generate the magnetic field. They consist of conductor coils wound around the core and insulated with cardboard diaphragms and shielding layers. The thickness of the winding insulation increases with increasing voltage. Bushings connect the transformer windings to the substation.

Oil-immersed transformers are used in power distribution or substations. Their core and coils are immersed in oil, which serves for cooling and insulation. The oil circulates through convection in oil pipes within the coils and flows around the coil and core assemblies. In small-power transformers, the oil is cooled externally by the tank, while in large-power transformers, the oil is cooled by air-cooled radiators.

Purpose of Using Oil-Immersed Transformers:

1. Oil-immersed transformers can be installed on the ground, on a base, or on a pole, making them suitable for outdoor environments. They operate efficiently in a variety of applications, including power transmission and distribution networks, renewable energy generation, and small-scale industrial applications.

2. Oil-immersed transformers have a large capacity, thus saving significant amounts of electricity, minimizing power losses, conserving energy, and reducing user costs. Furthermore, the oil inside the transformer cools the internal iron core, thereby improving the durability and electrical performance of the transformer equipment.
