FAQs
Some questions and answers you may want to know when purchasing dry-type transformers.
Q. What types of transformers do you stock?
A: We provide a diverse range of transformers such as power transformers, distribution transformers, and step-up/step-down transformers. Our flagship product is the SCB18 dry-type transformer, our highest-end product.
Q: Can I customize a transformer for my specific needs?
A: Certainly. We do custom stuff. Various parameters can be specified such as power rating (kVA/MVA), input/output voltage, frequency (50Hz/60Hz), number of phases, insulation class, cooling method and standards applicable (IEC, ANSI, IEEE etc). Our technical team will review these solutions carefully and confirm their feasibility.
Q: What international standards do your transformers adhere to?
A: We mostly comply with IEC 60076 for our transformers. We can also offer products to other regional standards such as ANSI/IEEE, CSA and EN, if required. If you do consult with me, be sure to mention the certification standards you require.
Q: What are the standard voltage and frequency levels?
A: Our transformers comply with the international standards (like 10 kV, 20 kV, 35 kV) and the corresponding frequency standards (50 Hz or 60 Hz). We are also able to offer products which are tailor-made for particular markets.
Q: How can I get a quote?
A: Please contact us via our “Contact Us” form or email us your requirements, order quantity and destination port. The more information you give us, the more accurate our quote will be.
