Product Presentation

The core consists of high-permeability orientated cold-rolled silicon steel sheets in a fully oblique-slot laminated structure, and the columnar part has a multi-stage circular cross-section. The cross-section of the yoke is the same as the cross-section of the core. The windings are manufactured from high-quality oxygen-free copper wire, suitable for oil-immersion environments and fitted with a high-precision on-load tap changer for voltage regulation according to load.

1. The voltage can be adjusted under load without power failure with a high-precision on-load tap changer, which perfectly solves the problem of grid fluctuation.

2. The core adopts high permeability orientated cold-rolled silicon steel sheets with a complete oblique-slot structure, which can effectively reduce magnetic reluctance and loss, and save a lot of energy.

3. The transformer adopts an optimised compact design, has strong short-circuit resistance, can adapt to various sudden short-circuit conditions, and has extremely high operational reliability.

About the Product

1. Electromagnetic System Basics

The core is made of high permeability orientated cold rolled silicon steel sheets and processed with full oblique slit lamination which reduces no load losses, as in the conventional models. The high voltage and low voltage windings are made from high purity oxygen-free copper wire. The optimised concentric cylindrical structure significantly improves the short-circuit withstand capacity, which can withstand the impact of sudden short-circuit and ensure the reliability of operation.

2. On-Load Tap Changer: Core Voltage Regulator Component

It is provided with an independent high-precision on load tap changer, and some of the large-capacity models are also provided with an independent small oil conservator for the tap changer to ensure the insulation and lubrication during the voltage regulation. This component can automatically/manually adjust the winding tap changer position under full load, achieve ±8%/±10% voltage adjustment without power outages, and perfectly solve the problem of grid voltage fluctuations.

3. Core Feature: Oil Conservator (Capsule Type Oil Conservator)

This is the core of the structure, a horizontally mounted cylindrical vessel placed on top of the main oil tank, with a volume of about [missing information - probably a percentage] of the main oil tank. 10% with an internal sealed capsule to completely isolate insulating oil from the outside air: When the transformer oil expands due to temperature rise, the excess oil flows into the oil conservator; when the temperature drops and the oil contracts, the oil in the conservator replenishes the main oil tank, always keeping the main oil tank full of oil and preventing the oil surface from being exposed to air. The capsule isolates the oil from direct contact with air, which greatly slows down the ageing rate of insulating oil and prolongs its service life. The oil conservator is equipped with a pointer type oil level gauge, which visually monitors the oil level changes and avoids the false oil level problems.

4. Matching of Protection and Breathing System

Breather Located at the breather port of the oil conservator, it has colour changing silica gel desiccant to absorb the air entering the capsule chamber. The system is capable of efficiently removing moisture from the air, preventing moisture to enter the transformer at all and guaranteeing the performance of the insulating oil.

Gas Relay: Positioned on the connecting pipe between the oil conservator and the main oil tank, it inspects for internal transformer faults. A minor fault generates gas, triggering an alarm, while a serious fault trips a mechanism to protect the transformer.

Pressure relief valve: It automatically releases pressure to prevent the oil tank from exploding when the internal pressure of the transformer is too high.

5. Oil tank and cooling system:

The main oil tank is welded from high-strength steel plates, and is provided with an external tubular radiator. The oil-immersed self-cooling (ONAN) cooling method is able to adapt to the large capacity requirement from 800kVA to 31500kVA, and can deal with larger capacity cooling requirements compared with corrugated tanks, suitable for the main transformer scenario in large substations.

6. Accessories:

It is equipped with high voltage/low voltage bushings that conform to IEC international standards, oil temperature and level monitoring devices, voltage regulation control devices and so on, supporting remote automatic voltage regulation and status monitoring. Interfaces can be customised to meet customer requirements to adapt to different global power grid environments compliant with different regional standards such as ANSI/IEEE.
